Hi

I assume it was photoshop.

I found it sometime ago and was initially fooled by it, possibly because Bristol did briefly enter the railbus development attempts.

The more you look at it though the easier it becomes to spot the faults.
To me the most glaring is the alignment of that front bumper/buffer beam when you compare it with the plough from the rail chassis showing just underneath it, also that beam is visually closer to the nearer rail than the far one.
So a slight change to that feature could have made it much more convincing.

"Slight" in that context, obviously relates to expert use not my own fumblings.

Wrong Bangor, that's a Crosville Bristol SC.

Sorry, but I was never going to be being taken in by the April fool joke. Fallen for too many in the past. Laughing

Not quite the same, but I've noticed a post on FB from the "Yesterday" channel promoting a forthcoming series called "Hornby: A Model World", " The fascinating new series follows the iconic British model maker and its team of dedicated engineers as well as collectors and model shop owners."

Perhaps an expanded version of the James May 2-part programme that was on a while back. I enjoyed most of that, as I recall.
