Henry apparently spent a lot of money in order to secure supplies of rubber an other commodities, but for several reasons it all failed. _________________ Dane- roverdriver but not a Viking. |

In their natural state "rubber" trees are interspersed thinly through the forest. Henry refused to take advice from anyone and it was no surprise to botanists that packing the trees close together in a plantation resulted in persistent infestations of caterpillars and disease.
I have often thought that Henry Ford was a flawed genius. |
