I don't know how I feel about converting classic cars to electric. Just because something CAN be done doesn't mean that it SHOULD be.

In the article they say that Aston Martins do not convert to electric very well because of their "light and nimble nature". .....utter nonsense. The reason you will not find an electric Aston Martin is because without their DB engine the value is reduced by several hundred thousand pounds!!!

There were a couple of pre-Ruby Austin 7s at Woodford the other week.
They were home conversions and one driver said he got about 60 miles from a battery bank and he had 3 banks he could couple to so it sounded to me that he could get 150 range if he wanted.
He also explained that the power controller was set up so that his speed and acceleration were suitable for the original prop shaft back axle and brakes etc.

I'm fairly sure that this is one of the two.

I read the BBC article...its endorsed by David Beckham so it must be good ?

Well,,, Victoria Beckham was at one time promoting the Range Rover Evoque; in my opinion, probably the worst designed Land Rover ever !
