Oh, that's good to know - I'm not really ready for a full day show at the moment, but if I can get away by lunchtime that would be good.

Decent turn-out yesterday down to the good weather. And for anyone who's thinking of going, lunchtime does seem to be pretty much the show close, I left at 1.30pm and there weren't many vehicles still there. I didn't want to be first to go, and as I'd had trouble with the battery I didn't want much of an audience if I had to get the starter pack out.

Yes, I'm looking forward to that as well.

Next "Off the Rails" meeting at the Crewe Heritage Centre is the morning of Sunday February 27th. The day before there is a morning meeting at the Station Pilot pub, on the outskirts of Crewe.

There's a meet tomorrow nr Burland, but with the weather shaping up as it is, I can't see much happening. Thanks for the heads-up about the Station Pilot pub, not heard of that one.

I've only just seen the notice about that one on FB, another local one I hadn't heard of. Not really the weather for it though, as you said.

The Sunday morning meeting is on at Chester Lakes this Sunday, you need to pre-book but it's free to do so.

There's also a morning meeting at the (renamed to) The Old Piggery Cafe at Combermere, 10am-on Sunday 10th April. Sadly don't think we'll get over there due to other stuff going on, but it had a good turnout last time.

Oh, is that the one on the main road? I have seen that they get a very good turnout, not sure whether I will get there this time, but maybe.

I've just had an email reminding me that the Gawsworth Hall classic car show is on May 2nd. Tickets must be pre-booked by phoning the office, I can add the number if anyone wants to go. They haven't said, it was £5 last time.

This weekend coming up is Sandbach Transport Festival (Sat/Sun), the Crewe Heritage meet (Sun), and the Cheshire Run for lorries (Sun). Drive it Day is on Sunday too so hopefully there'll be some interesting machines out for a drive.

Gawsworth Hall on Monday was pretty busy, especially considering the weather was a bit dull. Managed to stay dry all day though. Autojumble wasn't up to much, but then it never is.
