I saw a Mk1 Fiesta the other day with wide wheels on it. It's on the dashcam (probably) but the picture quality means it's probably not worth getting a screen dump.

There was a Mk1 Escort (rally prep'd) being loaded onto a trailer this evening, a few miles from us, perhaps it had failed to proceed and was being collected.

Coming back into the village tonight I passed a lovely WW2 Jeep, in the rain and both occupants getting pretty wet..

I've just seen a D-prefix Capri parked up at a local classic-friendly garage.

We had a week in Scotland in our TR4 with the top down all the time. Excellent weather most of the time but also a couple of rain showers. However these were not too fierce and we were lucky to keep just enough speed to not get too wet.
Yesterday on my way to work I did not like the fast growing grey clouds and put the top up. Indeed not 5 minutes later it came hammering down.

A 1938 Leyland Lynx just drove past, painted in the livery of a local (Nantwich) roofing company, not seen it before.

In Swindon this morning. a very tidy looking Blue Mk III Cortina. Iwas just leeaving a garage when I saw it at a pump, couldn't stay to chat but asked if it was a 2.00 litre and the driver said it's a 3.00 ltr so either an SA import or perhaps just a 3.00 ltr Essex engine replacing the original.

A pair of BAC Strikemasters (ie Jet Provosts) zipped over quite low today, seems they're based over near Chester.

We spent the dayxdown at the Great Dorset Steam Fair. So much on show down there apart from the usual steamers.

One area that we spend a lot of time in is the WW1 trench system, I love WW1 era trucks. This year a recreation of a bombed WW2 town was created, absolutely brilliant. There were many wartime cars doted about in the rubble, many Standards and a few Austins. All very rough and bashed about and all looked great in the setting.
