At 12.57am as I was watching a DVD, my whole house shook for about 1-2 seconds, enough to wake everyone up.
Went outside but could neither see nor hear the cause. Didn't hear a bang at the time of the incident, but my sister claims she saw a brief flash of light as it woke her.
I wonder if either the local chemical plant 'Rhone-Poulenc' had gone up in smoke or maybe an aircraft had crashed.
Anyone else in the Norwich area experience this or know anything? _________________ Don't run your fingers over my truck & I won't run my truck over your fingers!

Hi
Aparently there was a small earth temor, on the news this breakfast, they can't stop talking about it, it woke my dad on the 3 storey, but you need more than that to wake buzzy up! hehe
Cheers

Mrs Nail woke me at 1am this morning to tell me that there had just been an earthquake as the whole house was shaking.
I looked at her " as if she was mad" apparently, and went back to sleep |

Maybe you're just used to being shook up after driving all those old cars... _________________ Don't run your fingers over my truck & I won't run my truck over your fingers!

Too much information about your personal life "Did the earth move for you darling?"
Definitely NO brownie points there O-N. |

Don't know whether it was that or something else, but I woke suddenly around that time upon hearing a bang, but after searching the house I concluded that some timber, hastily stacked, earlier had moved.
I live in North Kent and and my hearing isn't good.

This guy deserves to make a few bob for his enterprise and sense of humor
Don.
ps. Thought I'd better check garden pond for signs of a Tsunami. Arnold, my frog, has been very attached to a lady frog recently and I was hoping for a good shoal of Tadpoles in due course. Hope he wasn't put off. |

Hi O-N you are not alone mate!!
happened the same to me over here in malta last time we had such a thing (the actual earthquake was in Greece but was felt a little in the Maltese islands too)
My wife woke me up and I said she was dreaming cause I had been awake. (of course I was dreaming ...... of being awake apparently)
She teased me for a whole week bout it!!!! |

For those of you that havent seen the film Tremour, this will make no sense, but for you others....could the earthquake have been caused by worms?
Seriously, from what I have seen on the news here, it must have been quite big. |

There used to be a saying that He or she "Could sleep through an earthquake" well now I've proved that I can too! |
