Has anyone had a clutch plate relined? I am looking for somewhere in the West Midlands. I could get a complete new clutch from the States at a price of $599 + shipping + import tax + vat !!!! Crying or Very sad

The transmission brake band and clutch plate for the Dodge were done recently, by (I think) an offshoot of what was Ferodo - Friction Technology Limited. I'm sure it was this place that did it, I can check during the week if you like. Perhaps worth contacting them anyway to check, especially as they are in the right area

Hi

I have never done plates for a car, but have done them for farm machinery.

Is it possible to do them yourself?

Cheers

Dave
