Hello to one and all. New to the forum so thought I’d explain a bit about myself (egged on by Uncle Joe!). I don’t own a Classic at the moment but have come close in the past with a Mk1 Golf GTi. Not considered a Classic by many but it kept me on my toes, was a lot of fun and it got a few admiring glances. The old man and I have a long term plan to buy an Alfa Romeo Guilia and drive over to some historic events on the continent (Mille Miglia or the Targo Floria). It’s just a pie in the sky dream at the moment, as I don’t have the funds but it’s nice to have a dream! I’ve been spectating at historic events for a few years now, which is where my interest was born really. Le Mans Classic and the Circuit des Remparts in Angouleme are both fantastic events and the latter is where the Guilia first grabbed my attention (looked awesome drifting around the tight and twisty track). Interested to hear if there are any Alfa owners out there as I’m looking for some inspiration  |
