deary me, there are some reet pillocks around
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wear/6132140.stm?ls
I heard about this at the end of the week, but post it here in case you missed it. Some say that fireworks should be banned from public sale, I rather think some people should be banned from being near any other members of public!!!!

Is he what is known as "The Great British Eccentric?" Or the only known example of a perfect vacuum? |

naaa he's no eccentric, just an idiot from what I can tell
an eccentric is like the bloke I rang a while back. He had an Austin 16 with no trim in it, a Triumph 2000 engine (and various other mods) fitted, and used the thing on a daily basis for charging around Yorkshire. He also collected steam stuff, and sported a handlebar moustache. He sounds more like the definition of eccentric that I have in my mind!!
Fred Dibnah was another candidate for this title too I think (met him once, seemed a really nice fella)

Don't get me started on Dibnah, he rules!
I have seen a few excentric people recently, I think they are great fun!
Cheers

buzzy, I just had a look at the link. They do have some nice stuff, dont they?
If I'm ever in the area, I think that I will pay them a visit if its possible.
I wonder why there are called Preston Services though? Is it because they are southerners that want to join the civilised north? |

Being to busy looking at the steamware, I'd missed the fact that they have a rally. Now then, lets see. We have friends in the area (near the Spitfire Memorial) so accomodation isn't a problem..... Hmmm! |
