Hi everyone,

just a quick one to say hello and to show you my toys, hope to get lots of useful input, particularly on the austin and morris, from this forum...

anyway here they are:

1934 Austin 12-4 Ascot

1933 morris 10-4 tourer

and i'm afraid you 'll have to wait for a pic of the MG as they are on a different PC!

Myself and my father in law use the oldies for wedding cars - you can see more on www.idocars.co.uk

If anyone knows where i can find more information about these cars, id love to learn more of their history, I'm also aware that the morris is particularly rare and would be interested to know how many are left

Welcome, nice cars.
Your Morris, being 1933, will probably have had strange three lamp indicators when new. A Morris design. Each side of the car had a mini set of traffic lights where your semaphores are. When turning left the red one on the left and the green one on the right lit up and vice versa. Both orange ones lit up for straight on. The switch must have been a nightmare to wire up or fault-find on. Leslie Hore-Belisha became Minister of Transport in 1934 and he made them illegal (probably 'cos nobody understood them) But I expect you knew all that Embarassed
