Seems plenty of people are looking for classics to take them to the church. Can anyone help out with finding a suitable V8 250 in silver???

Hi

I don't know if you'll be able to help me but I am looking for a Silver Daimler V8 to take me to and from my wedding on Sat 6th Sept.

There's a bit of a sob story behind this...
I lost my Dad suddenly from a heart attack 4 years ago and he was a classic car enthusiast. He would attend shows, rallies, polish it at every opportunity! He would change his cars frequently but the one that lasted longest was the Daimler. I really want to have this car as part of my day as Dad won't be there to give me away, it feels like he will be with me if I have this car.

Anyway, we are getting married in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire. I have looked into Wedding hire cars in the area but no joy! I have found a private owner in North Norfolk but it's too far away. Obviously we would pay for the service.

I'm really hoping you might be able to help or maybe point me in another direction?

Wonder if DVLA would consider contacting the current owner if the lady puts her case forward?

there is a wedding car company in Milton Keynes that have a daimler and a jag.. one in white one in silvery blue...
