Dave M, a regular correspondent, sent over this pair of pics and a question about the black cats on the front of both machines:

"Here's a question me and a couple of email friends have been tossing around for a while, there's a black cat on the number plate, we have seen it a number of times in photos of twenties motorbikes, was it a trade logo
giveaway like the tiger in your tank tail, of esso, or a club mascot,
or just a geegaw that you bought in a shop, if you could answer this
question we could move on in our lives, lol dave"

Anyone know??

Isn't a black cat supposed to be good luck if it "walks across your path"? If its in front of the vehicle then the vehicle will always be crossing its path.

Or is it the other way 'round and its bad luck, I can't remember! Rolling Eyes Very Happy

I remember seeing a cat trying to cross 3 lanes of traffic on a motor way. It got passed the first lane but the traffic got it on the second lane.

Ah but they have 9 lives. I think the other 8 may be in another dimension though.
I believe the second life is in a strange two dimensional world. 'Not sure what happens thereafter. Wink
