In a previous incarnation I was a Doorman or 'Bouncer' as they were called, I worked on the door of many of the pubs and clubs in Bolton.
I don't know which particular ones you will be familiar with, but in my time I will have worked most of 'em.

The kindest way to describe those years is to say that absolutely nothing shocks me anymore

They were the usual ones, Palais, The pub across the road (Ship, Anchor? cant remember the name) Neptune, Tonge Ward LC, to name but a few. ring any bells?
