I went to Totnes Motor Museum for the last time maybe ten years ago. It was located in south Devon on the banks of the River Dart at Steamer Quay just opposite the town. It is now a block of flats or something, even though its still on the internet as being there! Indeed at the Tourist board office in Torquay they still thought it was open!
Anyway, my question is, does anyone have any idea what became of all or any of the classic vehicles that made up the collection ? The collection was on two floors and consisted of at least fifty vehicles and much assorted vintage motoring paraphanalia. Whither went it ? |

I think we talked about the fate of museum pieces once before. If I remember correctly, they are not allowed to be sold, so I would imagine they ended up in various other museums.
Unless some scoundrel did sell them on, ofcourse. _________________ Don't run your fingers over my truck & I won't run my truck over your fingers!
