|
|
I'm having real problems finding light blue door seal for my Riley 1.5 - it's the sort with the plush push-on bit with rubber roll attached that the door compresses as it closes (hope that's clear!)
The samples I've been sent are either too dark and don't match the carpet samples (from another source) and the diameter of rubber roll bit is too large or too small. THe rubber bit needs to have a diameter of 15mm, I can find only 10mm or 20mm.
The colour of the car is Bermuda Blue - think Gulf Porsche blue and you're very close, the carpet & trim is 'Powder Blue' which is very similar.
All suggestions (polite ones only please) gratefully received! |

This is called 'Furflex' and as far as I am aware there are not many colours produced nowadays.
I assume you've tried Woolies? |

Furflex is only Furtex plush wrapped around standard 1/4 rubber tube - if you cannot get the right shade by neutral and dye using Dylon dye from Woolworths etc _________________ Rover P2

Thanks for the suggestions.
I've tried all the usual places, Woolies sent samples but those are the ones that are too dark and too large.
I guess it's going to be a compromise however it's not going to be a concours car so it's not the end of the world. |

Don't assume the colours from other suppliers will just be the as Woolies.
You'll be surprised at the variety.
