Just wondered if anyone would know the equivelant part numbers ,(not the Ford number), for Front, inner & outer wheel bearings for 1956 Ford Popular 103e?
Many Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,

Unfortunately you are just a bit too modern for my sources but if you are familiar with part commonalities then this might help:

Ford 8HP & 10HP 1932 to 1952

Front inner SKF K07097-K07204 or Timken Y1201-Y1202 or Ford Part No. as Timken

Front outer SKF K03062-K03162 or Timken Y1216-Y1217 or Ford Part No. as Timken

Peter

could be worth having a look on the small ford site, see if they list the same part number(s) covering all years, including 56 or not, that might confirm whether Peter's numbers will apply to your car (I bet they do, I wonder if JRF has any info as he has a 103E too)

Hi Greg,

This club list doesn't appear to specify which cars the front bearing are for,
which rather suggests all. http://www.fsoc.co.uk/spares/810spares.pdf

Quote: "The club's spares lists include general items for 8 & 10 hp models from the 1930's Model Y to the 103E Popular as well as the E83w commercial and the 100E range and 107E Prefect."
