This is my first ever, newly acquired classic car. She's a cracker.

Hi
She certainly is?
What is her History, do you know much about her?
Cheers

Don't know everything yet but have my detective specs on. She was used in an insurance advert and was in Heartbeat. Full bare metal respray a few years back but sadly bubbling slightly already. Came from a good home who also has 1957(?) Hudson Hornet, Nice! Cracking interior but needs a good service! We've locked ourselves out the boot already
Reg used to end VW so whoever sold that was a lucky man!
One piece exhaust with cherry bomb. Vroom vroom! |

My wife learned to drive in my 1962 Zephyr automatic, in about 1968. Obviously, she'd never driven auto before, and I asked her to pull up and reverse into a side turning. She stopped alongside the kerb, beautifully placed to do the maneouver. I waited for her to select reverse, but she didn't. When I asked her if she was going to select reverse, she said " you said it was automatic"! Bless her, she doesn't drive now due to invalidity, but we still have a chuckle over that whenever we see a Mk11 Ford. Thanks for the memory. |
