Does anyone know what is the best substance to pour down a spark plug hole to free possible stuck piston rings?
Ive already used brake fluid, but i seem to remember a similar problem being discussed on here in the past.
Can any body help? |

Hi
I just run my car, obviously I had some compression, just had sticky rings, which have cleared now.
Cheers

Some people swear by automatic transmission fluid. The best stuff I've ever used for freeing seized componenets is the old fashioned plus gas.If the engine will run at all it would make sense to add whatever freeing off agent you are using with the engine hot. |
