taking the cam out of my 10hp how do you get dizzy drive out? |

Behind the valvegear coverplate, you will see a small hole into which you insert, or screw in a threaded rod or small screw,( can't remember the exact size) then allowing you to pull out a sort of bung that locks the shaft in place.
Hope this helps, unfortunately I have recently moved and all workshop manuals are in storage somewhere, ........I hope
the fun part is lining up the distributor shaft when re-fitting.

thanks Greg we have done that but it still wont budge ,the engine was running recently but must have nipped up on shaft ,gunna soak it and have another go ,thanks again ........Rod |

wd40 and a brass drift did the trick ,must have had a build up around it ,it sort of fell out when tapped , |
