Having had a difficult time locating the above, I have finally found a source of good quality shackle pins at reasonable prices (the supplier is no relation, or associate!) and below is a photograph of the 2 types fitted to my 34 Nine. Both have 2 "x 1/2" bearing surfaces, the only difference being one has a locating step for a plate. Unfortunately I have hurt my back and have been unable to get under my car, and need to know how many of the pins are of the stepped variety (It may be only the swinging shackle pins). It would also be nice for confirmation from other as to which other models they will fit,. I assume the Wasp, and Hornet as they share the same chassis, use the same components, but from which year to which year? The unstepped variety are also the same as the Morris 8, but I am unsure of which years, or if any other MOWOG cars used these pins

Hi Timstopp

There is a pro vintage /classic car restorer in Arlesford.
He won't touch anything after 1960, or so I have been lead to believe.

I have found him to be very friendly and helpfull, and not shy of offering advice and info.

It was he who was able to ID my chassis and front axle, and source the track rod ends and fit a new set of kingpins on my DLM rebuild.
