Hello I'm a doctor writing in my spare time a children's story about a man who finds and restores a Heinkel bubble car which turns out to be magic! I believe that it is very important that what I write about the car is correct. I hate reading books where the author gets the medical details wrong. Unfortunately I know very little about cars and in particular about bubble cars. I need to check that the technical details that I have included are correct. I would be very grateful if anyone out there could help me. I would ofcourse acknowledgeyour help in the book. Thank you.

You could try looking on the Register of Unusual Microcars site:

http://www.rumcars.org/

if there is nothing there, they have links out to other useful sites

You could try the Microcar Museum at Byard Leap near Cranwell, Lincolnshire.

He has a fantastic museum and seems to know everything about them.
The link is http://www.bubblecarmuseum.co.uk/index.shtml

Hope this helps
