Just been having a surf through some of the pages one of the threads touched on balancing carbs but no one elaborated on the method.

If you are from "The Old Skool" I'd love to hear how this is done by the listening method Smile

You have to have good hearing and not be tone deaf and listen for a slightly different hiss sound when sticking a rubber tube (say 8mm OD) into centre of intake at EXACTLY same position for each one and holding near to your ear. Works very well.

Engine warmed up and idling not too slow, air filter(s) off and interlinks loosened to allow independent adjustment of throttle stops of course!

Someones lending me for the 420G, no need really for me to buy one as its not really a regular job and it would be £40 -50 wasted and I can borrow one for free Wink
