Change of oil and I'm sure it would be airworthy again!!!
Occasionally I go into work by rail; from the train, somewhere round Stockpot you can see a semi detached house with a garden that backs onto the railway and its full of railway stuff, signals , signs and the chopped off fronts of old diesel engines
Must have a very understanding better half

Wow!
It would surely be a crime to be left decaying in a garden! However desireable.
Surely, as a sole survivor, it should be properly preserved or even tidied up, in a museum. This was the rival of the Hawker Hunter. And on paper at least, the superior plane.
Such a shame if it is not preserved.
