hi just thought i would add pictures of my percy (my 1959 a35) as my first post. i have owned him since 2005 and has been an ongoing project since then. i'm hoping that within the next couple of weeks i'll be able to treat him to his first mot for over 15 years.

[links fixed, I think, although the pics are a bit wide for my screen, RJ]

They're showing now, although are a bit big really. The link you paste in has to end in .jpg for a photo.

PS good to see your car Smile

when you read the instructions it sounds so simple and on most other forums it really is simple, but not on here! i am quite good on a pc but pixel sizes and re-sizing images isnt something i do.

Hi
If you have used photobucket there is an edit facility on there which does have a resize button which then allows you to change the width without counting pixels and it reduces the height in proportion at the same time.
Done that way it shouldn't change the IMG code and of course you still have the original size on your own hard drive.

Other hosting sites possibly have a similar facility.

Another, Free download, bit of software to resize photos that is worth a mention

Pixresizer.

http://pixresizer.en.softonic.com/download

Or Google pixresizer.

I have been using it for a few years now, handy for batch resizeing as well.
Have resized down to 120 pixel, or less, for Avators, and upsized to 3000 pixel as well

Been transfering a load of imiges to anothe hard drive and resizing all to the same size, did a batch of 2000+ with one click last week.

I have nothing to do with the software or download site just thought member might find it usefull.

Took me longer to log into photobucket than resizing.

I found the Photobucket popups and slow speed - dire enough to make it almost unusable. I switched to gmail's photos which i haven't found fault with yet.

Nice A35 ...
Takes me back to owning my A35 van (countryman conversion) 809VTE

Endless days welding sills from Autofurbish and rebushing front kingpins (I still have the stepped reamer from that epic journey somewhere lol)
Great fun to drive with it's 1098 a series (it was an AV8) so one of the last of the breed . Cool Cool
