Nice selection, something there for everybody here
I don't think I've ever seen that model of Albion truck with a one-piece front windscreen before. To me the bodywork has the shape for a two-piece, but it could well be some kind of transitional body style - and there again it might just be the owner that did it. |

Yes, some very nice photos there; they've really captured the atmosphere there. Funny, I didn't notice the windscreen on the Albion, Scotty, but it does look odd with the one wiper. I thought that lorries of that era always had a split screen with the drivers side pivoted at the top (for ventilation?) like the two Guys just a little further down, so perhaps it was a later conversion.
That two-tone Sunbeam was a beauty, even my wife remarked on it In fact there were quite a few tasteful two-tone schemes there, what a pity they have gone out of fashion for new cars. Look on the what to lay down thread to see what can be done. |
