Hi

The fords are going???? and the spares!!!!

Might be interested in the spares, or some of them!

I would love the fords but don't think I can afford anything else just now!

Where are you going to load it up, on to the wagon?

Cheers

Dave

Not sure how they'll be loaded as yet, need to speak with the transport fella. It could be done on the road outside here, the straight bit, if we pick a quiet time of day

Yup the Fords will have to go which is a shame but something has to give if the Dodge is going to get done!!!

Seems like the old girl is being collected very soon, so I'll need to clear out some of the clutter that has amassed underneath it, and around it, since its been in the garage, so that it can be towed out on a solid bar.

Made a start yesterday evening, and shifted a few bits n bobs off the drive (on to the lawn temporarily, hehe) so that the route from the garage is cleared....

doubt this'll win me too many brownie points Confused Wink

I take my inspiration from your gardening tips and advice! I find old vehicles parked on the grass can help in keeping the weeds down

Hi

Bet 'erindoors is no too pleased but at least it will mean one less vehicle to restore in the long run! I quite like the old car idea in the garden, but my mum is having none of it, on the grass anyway!

So it isn't going on a wagon, it is going on a solid bar is it, the transport guy was asking me yesterday if it would be ok, I didn't know to be honest, never been involved in towing a lorry on a bar before! What is the tow going to be, a tractor unit?

Cheers

Latest I heard is that it might be going on a flatbed, although it seems to change quite regularly. The original fella who was going to move it blew the engine in his truck over the weekend, so someone else apparently is lined up to do it. Just been dragging spare ute engines out of the way, gawd they're heavy old things Confused

Hi

You will be real strong!

I am not sure how it is being moved, maybe they are using a bar to get it out of the shed, and then onto a wagon? I am sure it will all go succesfully though!

Cheers

Moving fella did turn up this afternoon, but the dodge is a) too wide b) too heavy for his sliding hydraulic truck body, which is a bit of a bu**er. Back to the drawing board!
