I thought this link may be of interest to those who are interested in WW2 aviation history.
The Boeing factory, Seattle WA, was also given similar treatment.

Wow!
I never suspected that the Americans had such a fear of air attacks from Japan after the initial surprise attack on Pearl Harbour.
Fantastic camouflage, but might they not have done better camouflaging their airfields over here?
