I want to put bigger tyres on my vogue purely for safer driving, so what would be the maximum tyre size to fit without it looking daft. I though mabye 165's or 175's. The 155 tyres on it look like bike wheels. What do you think guys?

Hi
Don't forget that it isn't just what it will look like that matters.

175s extend the width by 10mm each side, ie 1cm or 5/8ths inch

Get it on full lock and find out what the clearance is betwee the tyre and the inside of the wheel arches also if you get wider tyres and they are then inline with or even protruding past the outer wing profile; will they foul the wings under maximum suspension compression?
Too much protrusion can also put you in the area of needing arch extensions , there is a maximum allowable protrusion of wheels/tyres
