On our return from the Donington Park autojumble, we called in to the Aeropark for a quick walk around. There are some neat exhibits here, well worth a visit if you're in the viscinity of East Midlands airport, Donington etc.

Some of my favourite Aircraft there!........especially like the Lightning....like a dart....beautiful Smile

Agreed, some real classic jets. As kids my brother and I used to go to a farm with dad where the remains of a Vampire T11 were stored, we'd play in it for ages. If something similar turned up again I'd be half tempted to set some concrete blocks into the garden and spring a surprise on 'er indoors.

I think we'd struggle with a Lightning, but we'd get a Vampire or a Venom in I think, plus they break down into smaller more manageable lumps too for transportation (ie no crane required). Hmmmmm

She's up for it in theory, but doesn't believe we have enough space, or £. On both points she's probably correct, but I've not ruled it out entirely one day Smile
