Hi there

I have removed the valve guides from my engine and have looked at the Morris 8 Series E Workshop Manual and cannot decide for myself which is the correct direction to insert the new guides in.

Does anyone know if they go in from the cylinder head end or up through the camshaft and tappet chamber.

Hi Alec

Mine were pressed in from the top of the block. They should be reamed after fitting.
