Hello,
Just to show not all vans are now show or event exhibits.
I put my van to work just like it was built to do.
This photo is quite nostalgic really. When I was 13 years old a chap came to the field one Saturday morning and asked my mother if she wanted an Austin A35 van for the field for me to do jobs in..mending fences, carrying hay and straw etc,as it had just failed the Mot test.
I drove around the fields in it until it became a complete wreck.Sorry but they were worthless in 1970.
All these years later I just had to get another,by chance after looking all over the country for one,i found this not more than 4 miles from where we live. And it is the same colour as the other one.

Hey Gaz,
Luv your CA Dormobile, I'm in process of restoring Mk2 CA Van, going thru similar process to yours. Keep old van's on road, as they are few and far between. |
