Red Mk2 Mini Cooper S just went by (as did a pickup the other day).

Yes, I wouldn't say no to paraffin from a pump at just under £1/gallon. These days it only seems to be available in pre-packed plastic containers at around £9/gallon, and then of course you have the single-use plastic container to dispose of. Progress?

Hi
Seen today,on the M62 near Bradford a md blue Escort on an H prefix reg, and a grey/green metalic Jaguar XJS near Haslingden.
Both seemed to be being used as regular drivers.

I've just seen an AC 428 coupe very close to home. Silver, with what looked like Eire silver-on-black plates on it. Didn't have the dash-cam on, unfortunately.

A sponge and a bucket of water wouldn't go amiss

I promised a bloke hanging around, that uses another part of the building, that I wouldn't divulge the location, so if you recognise it, please don't say.

Caught a glimpse of an all-steel Mk2 Mini estate (in green) driving along today, looked very tidy.

Been spotting some interesting things since moving to Kent, there's a lot of old toot floating about the place it seems. Unfortunately, I'm rarely in a position to get a photograph.

Banham Sprint trying very hard to look like something it isn't.

Commer PB. This must be the first one I've seen in the wild, rather than at a show, since the '90s.

What a timewarp place Rick.

Saw plenty on my way home tonight, what a difference a bit of daylight does.

One van had two Mk1 Fiesta shells up on the back, then I saw a lovely red Austin 7 Chummy driving along and finally as I drove through Glastonbury a beavertail with an orange Dolomite up on the back.

A chap in a very smart early 70s Beetle waved back while I was out testing the Volvo earlier.

Nearby there's a Mk1 Golf on an M-prefix registration, which presumably means it's a "City Golf" from another country.

The MK1 Golfs were still made in South Africa up to around 10 years ago, I think had been made there ever since VW launched the MK2 Golf and shipped the tooling over from Germany..

Funny to think that VW were manufacturing the Golf Mk1 & the Mk6 at the same time!
