Had a look around a 1953 Leyland half-cab coach yesterday (hope to again tomorrow), while today we saw a Dolomite driving along in the rain.

Difficult to see the size, but the underpinnings make me think a Mini base.

I think that's a good guess. OK it's not the best photo; but looking at it for a minute whatever the vehicle is it looks to me as though it has a touch of the nose-down attitude typical of a Mini with the front suspension somewhat past its best. Such a common sight when I started driving but on the odd occasions I see one these days they tend to be in better shape.

Saw an Opel Shoveit in remarkable condition yesterday. Not sure if it was light blue or grey, but it seemed pretty rust free as it went past.

HAHah!
GVs are not my favourite rot boxes...but they do a job, and I suppose that's a blessing?

No rot on ours Smile but needs a few mechanical jobs doing (suspension, V6 timing chain).

Followed the local Austin 7 Ruby just now, and earlier spotted a Sunbeam Alpine outside a local garage. Another local car, an AC 3000ME, is still sat in a nearby driveway.

I don't know the exact model sorry, just that it was a 1953 Leyland half-cab with a diesel engine. No pics sorry. Lovely thing, in cream and maroon.

Is it green? I saw a green 7 in Nantwich this afternoon, don't know enough to know whether it's a Ruby or not.

Yes that's the one, it's a regular sight in town and often turns up a local gatherings (in normal times).

Yes I saw that too, a black Series II. Did you also spot a Bond Bug being towed by a blue van?
