Kelsall Steam Rally is on this weekend, not far from Chester. Hoping to pop over for a look on one day.

I'll go for a day, dependant on weather (looks OK until late Sunday afternoon). It's well worth a visit with lots to see. Make a point of watching the Lawn Mower racing -its a hoot!

There's an informal gathering at the green opposite the White Lion at Hankelow on this Saturday afternoon - June 29th - from about 2pm. Those who take part in the Audlem Transport Festival will know the venue as it's the starting point for the cavalcade.

I'm going to Llangollen on Saturday (not in Cheshire, of course), and to Wrenbury on Sunday unless it's raining, which I don't think it will be.

Ahh Saturday, mmm, I had been pondering going to the Stars & Stripes, or the AMOC racing at Oulton, but probably I'll just potter around. I'd like to get to the Llangollen meet sometime though.

I've put in a form for the 60s weekend on the first weekend of August, several people (at least one on here) have suggested that I might get away with it even though my car is from later than that. I highlighted it when I emailed the form in and they didn't reject it outright, so I have fingers crossed. I'll send you the form if you like.

Oh really? Maybe I'll only be able to one day for that one as well then. We sometimes go to Prescott, but not every year.

The evening "anything goes" (classic & modern) meeting held in Tushingham, just over the border in Shropshire, is tomorrow evening (12th).

I'd heard that, but from someone who wasn't totally certain.

The steam fair at Daresbury is this weekend, 13th and 14th.

It's mentioned on the following page, I've been to a few and there's usually a good mix of vehicles turning up, not sure I'll make it though.

I've got a busy few weekends now, Carfest North next weekend at Bolesworth Castle, Llangollen 60s weekend after that, then a weekend off, then Tatton Park.

We hope to do Audlem next Sunday, all being well. There's a gathering at Alderford Lake on the same day too.
