I assume you had assistance putting him to bed?
I want to make a trolley for my engine but you can never find an abandoned shopping trolley when you want one. |
Penman: I too had considered the shopping trolley route.....
However, Vitesse, yes it has wheels, six sets of skateboard trucks, so that's 3 skateboards, one was my own (!) one was my dads (!!) and one I fished out of the skip at our local recycling centre and then got charged £1 for it !!!

What a privilege to have TN7 in the street , let alone being able to view the underside without needing to bend down. Lucky neighbours. |

You will be even more popular in the street Steve, once you have that powerful, capacious white wheelbarrow back on its feet. There will be a surprising number of neighbour requests for the removal of garden rubbish to the tip or collection of large packages from IKEA. Get a meter in it. |

So you have also invented the biggest skateboard in the world! You could get all the neighbours on it when you have finished.
I can't imagine the shoppers at the local supermarket would be very impressed with some angle grinder action in the car park if I were to chop up a shopping trolley. |

Hi Tony,
YES! However, my son and his friend tried it out as a skateboard and after 10 minutes told me it was rubbish! |

In my area you won't get in the tip without a licence unless you are in a car, they don't seem to recognise that some people use commercials as private vehicles. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Hi! Been reading your posts as I have inherited an Acty TN7 Custom Van/Camper Van. It is original (as far as I can tell) but in need of serious TLC!!!!! The big question is Restore or Sell? From what I can gather parts are hard to get hold of.
Liking the giant skateboard! |

Hi Canner,
Great to hear from another TN7 owner!! Is it a Romahome like this:
Following on from my recent experience, I think what may decide which way you go will be the condition of the front suspension struts and lower arms!!
These parts are almost not available ~ the pair of front struts I do know of will set you back about £750 !!
I have quite a stock of NOS TN7 parts so I might be able to help you if you
decide to restore....
Why not start your own thread on here and upload some pics?
Cheers Steve |
