The light are made and I am in the middle finishing off the brackets.
But I need to purchase a Brake light switch, but which one will a BG307A fit
or is there one off another car that will fit if so how. |

Any switch pulled on by a spring can be fitted between any suitable fixed point (chassis?) and a brake rod.
There is one such pictured above by Peter.
As well as the source he quotes many motorcycles with non-hydraulic brakes used them. So motorcycle parts and accessory shops could probably help.

That would be much more use on the left hand pedal connected to a big sign reading "TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE F****** CLUTCH!"
For some people anyway!

Jim,
What we need is a siren that goes off in the car if the brake light switch is on for more than 5 seconds. It might stop all these folk with dazzling brake lights sitting at traffic lights without using the handbrake, and yes I include automatics in that too! I agree about the clutch but that doesn't affect other drivers.

Not so!
The switch I suggested is the same type as is shown in both photos from Austin 7s and I think you can see the bracket on the cross member in the first photo with the spring connected to the brake rod. This may look crude but I assure you this is the arrangement used with most '30s cars that used rod brakes.
Just ignore the silly brake pedal photo and look at the first two.
Please excuse Jim and I for being angry old men. The advice concerning the switch is given in all seriousness and with good intentions.
