Yes, some very good stuff about the Dambusters, put out over the weekend.
Dan Snow was quite emotional during his flight in City of Lincoln, mind you i think i would be the same.
Johnnie Johnson, is a very bright and articulate old boy, with very forthright views. Long may he continue to tell it like it was. Such a shame, that all the bomber command lads, had to wait nearly a lifetime for official recognition.

Really enjoyed the programs about the Dambusters.

Which came too late for many of them, including my Uncle who was a tail gunner in a Halifax. He - and thousands of others who survived the war - passed away before their heroism was officially acknowledged; disgraceful of our politicians.
