According to the TV paper, is about moving a Canberra jet - might be interesting.

It was quite interesting, but once you filter out all the over-done dramatising for the telly it could have been half an hour. Hope they get it restored though. I thought it was a bit comical how they told us about all the precautions they were taking while stripping the Canberra down, then they bunged all the bits on piles of old car tyres once they were removed.

Generally though most of this program is quite interesting - the one about bringing two steam locos back from Europe somewhere was pretty good, though the US ones are always much more 'monster'. And it keeps animators in work.

The animations always look very tongue-in-cheek to me, as if it's intentional, barring them though MM is a good watch. I saw one with two locos being recovered from Canada recently, again interesting and another prompt that I should really visit the National Railway Museum one day.

That's certainly true - one of them last week had an animation of how loading the wings onto trucks vertically might impact bridges and phone wires, and ended with a dog barking in shock.

I haven't seen the Canada one, though I can't remember where the two steamers I saw were coming from it was somewhere in Europe. I did see one in the US where they were taking a loco up to a museum half way up a mountain.
