A photo of my 1976 Triumph Stage, MDE 501R, was given the honour of being on the front cover of the Stag Owners Club magazine in April 1989.
I have searched the house high and low for that edition but can't find it.
It's here somewhere................. _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Classic American did a big write up on my Caddy some years ago. Photos of it have appeared in several other mags. Many years ago when I was in the hot seat of the A.A.C.U.K. I did several radio, T.V., newspaper and magazine interviews |

On that subject, I was flicking through a copy of 'Practical Classics' from April 2006 and suddenly thought 'I recognise that van'. I take it you've got a copy of that one Rick? |

Was that the article about hoarders? if so, yes there's a copy here somewhere. The jolly green giant has been in a few magazines, best was the feature put together in The Automobile earlier this year.
A photo of junior stood with the Dodge tourer at Cholmondeley Castle appeared in CCW a few months' ago.

That's the one - it's a really small photo of the van in fairness. |

IIRC four times; 1997 in Classic cars and the Beeb's "The car's the star" (the E-type), 1997 EVO (an interesting one that, comparing a new XKR with the E-type, and an Anglebox with a Focus), then 9 pages in Octane on the C-type in 2009. I've been asked since but can't be bothered to clean the cars to the level they want. |

Had a picture of my Austin 10/4 in the Automobile back in 88 and a couple of years later in the Fred Dibnah 'Steam Up' video made at the Dorset Steam Fair. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. My Rileys and caravans appear in the Caravan Club magazine from time to time, but I think my piece of resistance is an appearance in Mayfair back in the 1970s. Remember they used to justify their existence with pseudo-mens-interest articles? I could be wrong but I think the article was written by Bill Boddy (how appropriate).
My cronies reckoned they had never seen so many tits in one book. |

I thought I should update this, fast-forward a few years and a bit of welding, and my Sportshatch is in the current (August 2019) issue of Practical Classics. |

This is probably cheating because I wrote the article. It appeared in the Jaguar Driver, the magazine of the Jaguar Drivers Club. Sorry, it's barely readable but if you are interested you see basically the same article in my website.

There was once a picture of my 78 Karrier Bantam in a Classic Commercial Magazine section of 'classics still working', it was about 10 years before I owned her and it was when she was in her previous owners signwriting. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

My Thames 400E Dormobile was on the front cover of May's Classic Van and Pick-up with a five page article within. If you want to get in print it helps if you went to school with the editor! |
