I skilful bit of flying there. It says in the article that the Sea Fury was the last propeller driven plane in the Royal Navy. Surely that would have been the Fairey Gannet? maybe be they meant piston engine?

We saw her last year at Dartmouth and only a few weeks ago at Yeovilton, one of my favourites. At least she is still repairable!

Turning on the TV this morning, we happened across a programme named "Close Calls", and the Sea Fury's prang was featured on there. The video footage and the pilot's account was well worth catching, I'm not sure whether it's available on the iPlayer or not.
