Today I put together a short video comprising a fascinating selection of London street scenes, from 1954. Those with long memories may recognise some of the photographs, as they were added to the site's image archive several years ago, across various pages. I thought that presenting them all together, in one place, would also be a good way of displaying them.

Latest stop-go animation by H features this time a selection of sports-racing cars of the 1950s, in action on a purpose-built racing circuit (with added "smoke" for realism...!)

Added to the magazines section today, a second copy (1951) of The Light Car. In it are a number of interesting new-car announcements, including for the Australian-built Hartnett, and a sporty machine called the Meteor.

Hi folks,
As he's off school now due to the Coronavirus, junior's been busy in-between his proper school work, with another video - this time a homage (!) to James Bond and the DB5. Titled "James Blonde - The Man with the Stolen Jags", villain Ernie Von Tealeaf attempts to make off with a collection of Jaguar XJ6s from the local dealership, but will he succeed, or will Blonde and his trusty Aston foil Ernie's dastardly deeds?

Classic trailer news - photos of a recently-discovered* 1920s-era Eccles, and a contemporary sales leaflet that has the same model featured in it.

Also new today, photos of veteran/early vintage cars, one of which looked to be under renovation in the 1950s.
