Perhaps this is of interest. What a find!!!!!

Garry Edwards, in my opinion, is probably one of the best people to tackle this rare Standard Swallow. In the video he mentions a broken interior light surround. I was fortunately able to supply him with a good replacement that I had spare. Any Wilmot Breeden parts of this era are scarce so I feel happy to have been able to assist.

The rust page updated today with the addition of a "walkaround" video of the Volvo and A40, pointing out how to go about finding rust on an older car, where to look and check for rot etc etc.

Added to the I-SPY books page, a late-1950s copy of I-SPY Cars. Who remembers filling these in?

A letter issued by Adlards Motors Ltd in 1943 to a potential customer for a radiator badge in the USA added in today, the garage being the property of Sydney Allard, the letter referring to his cars before the Allard car company had been officially founded. Quite an unusual "find".

Another former employee of Raymond Way Motors has been in touch with her memories of working there, from 1956 onwards. Her recollections join those of others who've been in touch previously about this particular car retailer.

Hi Harley... By far, even "lights years far", the best yet.. It was unique, it was beautiful, it was funny, it flew in the face of modern "Political Correctness".. in fact it was great... You have now set your own bar quite high... Regards and Stay Safe... Peter_L... Senior Citizen in New Brunswick, Canada. [But not always]..... Very Happy
