I thought you might find it of interest that there are two very nice Ford Thames trucks for sale from the same dealer in the U.S. One is a 1949 and the other a 1950.

Interesting, I've seen pics of these vans before.

5cwt vans seem to pull strong money in the US, over here either of those vans would probably be in the £4-4500 range tops, the signwritten one especially would be a little trickier to sell for top ££ methinks, because it'd need repainting without the current owners signwriting all over it (it also says its had an 'amateur' restoration, whatever that means - substandard? or just done at home rather than by a professional?).

Chances are the hot rod set will grab either of these and chuck a V8 in (sigh)
