POTD is a scan featuring one of several period-correct items of literature describing styles of numberplate available to British motorists in the 1950s.

POTD for today is a scan of a Vauxhall-inspired pedal car, taken from a page describing the range of pedal cars on offer by Tri-ang in the 1930s.
