POTD is of a c1927 Sunbeam 16 saloon, complete with chauffeur (and hound watching on).

2018 sees the 70th anniversary of the Issigonis-designed Morris Minor. Today's POTD remembers the pre-war Minor, in this case a two-door saloon version, first included on OCC just over ten years ago, July 4th 2008.

A holidaying scene from the 1950s is today's POTD. In it, a family with an Austin Somerset and an unidentified caravan, are captured on film enjoying themselves at a camp site.

A 1932 example, still on the DVLA records, but not presently taxed.

POTD for Friday 13th (!) is a 1963 colour snapshot of an early A40 Farina Mk2, possibly in the Alps. Added to the OCC image archive in April 2010.

Morning all,

POTD for today is a snap of (quote) "Uncle Wilf's car", according to the note on the reverse of this photograph. The car in question is a BSA Scout Series 4.

Today's POTD hasn't yet made it onto the main site, although it was posted to the forum a few years ago in a bid to try and identify the lorry. It looks to be in the ownership of the Kuwait Oil Company.
