The potential for a fancy Motor Home is there but I could find use for it "as is".

Pity it's so far away.!

I know this is an older post, but i would just like to mention that this is probably an Ackermann built vehicle. They would build it on pretty much any suitable chassis the customer required.
The ones I know about were MAN,Mercedes,Bussing,Henschel,Borgward.
I have several in my 1/87 model collection, made by Brekina in the last 20 years or so,and Wiking made one from the mid 50's till the late 60's.

Hi poodge . I thought no one else was interested!!!

I have always had a hankering after something like this to convert into a high quality camper van. I mean really sumptuous with all mod cons. It seems to be big enough but although they are supposed to be easy to drive, this one has an enormous rear overhang - which could catch me out on smaller roads/bends etc.

I don't have a license for anything heavier than 7.5 tons so I don't know if I could legally get behind the wheel.

I'm surprised that no-one has made it into a transporter.

Hey Rick; how is big Dodge going these days? It's been ages.

Not much to report really, hasn't been anywhere of note, just run up from time to time here to keep things tickety-boo.
