Another newbie hear, just bought the morris 8 any ideas why the petrol gauge shows full when it's empty, and empty when it's full ?
What's the best way to seal the fixed head steel to fabric ?
Where can I buy webbing to act as door restraints ?
Does any one know what model semaphores are fitted to this morris 6v
Many thanks for any help any can give

You probably have mismatched sender and gauge. There were two types G33 and G35 and they are not interchangeable except when both gauge and sender are changed together as a pair.
Door restraints were leather I believe not fabric.
The semaphore indicators were Lucas SF80 or SF34 type |

Original semaphores were Lucas SF34 or SF40, the later SF80's were never originally fitted but listed by Lucas as the replacement when they discontinued the earlier versions.
SF80 have the advantage that new repro lenses are available for about £6 each, new or good lenses for the earlier versions fetch silly money!
Remember to get the correct voltage as all versions were made in 6v & 12v. Click on my www link below for more spares.
