Bit of a long shot but I am looking for a Scintilla PN6 or AP6 magneto. There was one on eBay at the weekend but I lost out on the bidding battle!
It's to use as a spare because everyone in the Lagonda Club tells me that when touring the one component it's worth carrying a spare for is the magneto.
Cheers chaps...

Been a long time, Rich. How is that Lagonda going? Anything to report? |

Well, not much this year because of the dreaded C-19 but in 2017 I was at Brooklands for the re-opening of the original start/finish straight, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Unfortunately I broke the diff on one of my ‘racing starts’ 😉
Diff repaired in early 2018 and just local drives, watching the veteran cars on the Ellis Run, a smaller, more friendly run than the London to Brighton and held at a warmer time of year! I displayed it at the Lagonda Club annual event and in 2019 we attended the Chateau Impney Hill Climb, a cracking event, an excellent event which, unfortunately, no longer occurs.
Mechanically, other than the differential, I have fitted two new front dampers, a speedo cable and had the rev counter serviced. About 1,000 miles since 2018, not bad...

The Ellis journey interests me as they went through the village of Sunningdale where I lived and worked for a number of years. |

It's a great place to see the cars as they stop for around 30 mins to refresh. https://www.thewhitelionantiques.co.uk/ |

My old stomping ground all around there. I had my 18th birthday party at the White Lion when it was an hotel.
There is traditionally a New Years Day event at the Phoenix - probably not this year.
What has been largely forgotten is that Jenkins Hill (Bagshot) used to be a hill climb venue! |
