Apparently the Manchester Classic Car Show, held at Event City (alongside the Trafford Centre) will not be held in 2019 nor for the foreseeable future, blaming in part increased third party costs.
I only went to it once, it wasn't bad and I have heard it was improving. |

We exhibited 5 cars there this year, it was appallingly organised, getting cars on and off site was horrendous.

Shame, I exhibited there in 2014 and 2015 and really enjoyed it, much nicer experience than displaying at the NEC. It was friendly and laid back. Plenty of options for affordable food a short walk away in the Trafford Centre too, a hell of a lot better than the NEC 'captive audience' food prices. _________________ Richard Hughes |

I think the first one was organised by Stuart Holmes (who was doing Tatton until last year) but them someone else took it over. I'm not sure whether they took it over, or just organised their own show and there wasn't room for two. |

I used to go to it's predecessor at Belle Vue for a few years. The first time I went was just after I had bought the 1938 Buick and when I asked any stall holders for parts they knew who to point me to. I came back with so many contact names and phone numbers. Then when it moved into the city I went for a couple of years but it wasn't the same. The atmosphere wasn't the same and the jumble stalls were fewer which was my main reason for going.
