I'm driving to Crete in my 1934 Commer Q25.....
Just had a road wheel break....it is of the split rim type.... with a spring steel locking /ring...
Anyway it's junk now....
Not sure how to post a photo but need a rim....
The rims have a flattened center. NOT the dished sort that u'd use on a twin wheeler....so single wheels all round....6 bolt hole....
ANY IDEAS....happy to buy a set of 5....
Still have 1000 klms to drive...bit dodgy with no spare...
Have a new tyre n tube in the back of the van....
Originally they were artillery wheels...cast iron with heavy spokes....!!!!!
Mine are more modern, steel centres with the steel rims riveted on....
Asquith made an old van replica (based on a Transit chassis n running gear)
They had 20” artillery wheels...think they were cast alloy.....know of any. ?
Am I right...?
What about an agricultural trailer....?
If anyone can help I'd be obliged.....
Sorry any help on posting a photo, not much good with computers....
stuck on a m/way services in Spain.....
Thanks. Clogs.... |

We have 20" on the Karrier, no spare going though. I think it may be a tough ask.
You could advertised on the HCVS website for free. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Hi Frank,
Go to https://postimages.org/
Hit "Choose Images"
Go to your place on your computer where you store your photos and select the one you want to display.
Then click the Img tab in the top right of the forum "Post a Reply" page.
Then click on the symbol pointed to with the red arrow in the example above.
Then click the Img tab a second time.
If you now hit Submit then your photo should appear in the forum.
HTH,

Thats really helpful Peter. I spent ages trying to post photos before and gave up eventually as I could not find the instructions. Could Rick perhaps make this a "sticky" for future quick reference?
